Whether you're chasing a state qualifier, a D1 offer, competing for fun, or just getting started — Sandstorm has the specialized equipment and coaching for your event: High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Hurdles, and Pole Vault.

Open to all ages & skill levels, all year long. Coaches on-site every day to answer your questions and guide your training.

A Training Home for Athletes at Every Level

Middle School
Maximus Turner started pole vaulting at Sandstorm in 7th grade. He finished his middle school career with a middle school state record of 11'6 and a 2nd place finish at nationals. He now holds the Maryland All-Time Freshman Record at 13'7.25" and placed 3rd in the country among all freshmen. Max continues to train with us seeking even greater records!

High School
Sandstorm has helped high school athletes win their State Championship over 30 times, break over 100 school records, and win several medals at national championships.

Collegiate
Tom McCoy, Darian Hauf, Gracie Emerick, Madison Garrigus, Zachary Kralec, Brandon Kiefer, and Cole Parker were all able to become collegiate conference champions with the help of Sandstorm. Tom and Darian were also able to climb even further to become collegiate All Americans!

Professional
Taylor (Beard) Hayton, Olympic Trials Finalist in High Jump, came to Sandstorm for reliable year-round indoor training. She just finished 6th in the entire country at the 2026 Indoor USA Championship — and now coaches here too.

Adult Recreational
It’s never too late to get started!! Nancy Berger didn’t get started competing in track & field until her late 70s. Now at 80 years old, she frequently wins her competitions in the 80–84 age bracket.
